Suffering from the marketing blues?Maybe you need an MRI?
February 13, 2009
Who do you know, whose marketing results are getting them “down”?
Do they need some CPR? (Confidence. Progress. Results?)
Maybe they need an MRI? (More about that in just a moment.)

I remember a 121 I had over Skype with a woman who said she thought she needed help with her marketing.
(A florist, if I recall)
I then queried this and asked - “you think” or “you do?”
before I could continue, she blurted….
“Sometimes, I feel…
hopeless
inadequate
totaly negative about my business and towards others
unable to enjoy the stuff I used to do
I feel anxious, even agitated.
I get pains in my chest, bad headaches,
and butterflies in my stomach.
I feel irritable, moody…
unhappy, even miserable
I feel lonely, isolated, can’t sleep
and am worrying constantly.
I just need more sales.”
Now, just for the record, I am NOT a doctor.
Most people are scared of failure - why?
February 6, 2009
My 4 favourite quotes of all time, believe it or not, are not about luck, success or money….
…but about failure.
“The majority of men meet with failure because of their lack of persistence in creating new plans to take the place of those which fail.”
-Napoleon Hill
“The critical ingredient is getting off your butt and doing something. It’s as simple as that. A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. But today. The true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer.”
-Robert Browing
“There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.”
-Colin Powell
“In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure.”
-Bill Cosby
Was it not Henry Ford who said - ” Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.”
“You have not lived, unless you have experienced failure, pain, or frustration. Fail young. Fail often. You’ll thank me one day.”
My Dad (when I was about 10.)
Before you plan your next marketing activities….

One fo the first things we should do, is review where we are at NOW.
More importantly, identify where we have been, and the joruney we have been on…
…to arrive at where we are now.
Quite often its not until we review the journey, that we actually discover what we
have learned, and more importantly what it is we want to do next..
