If you're looking to promote yourself online, you may want to create an online profile on sites like Ecademy, or Linkedin. Question is, what do you want to say about yourself on these business networks.
Instead of focussing on which sign of the zodiac you are, which character from the Matrix you are, or which type of car or biscuit you'd like to be, here's a simple formula that might just help generate more interested parties getting in touch - (but only if you put into practice)
1. The Problem.
Ensure you inform your prospects that you understand their problems, pains and needs
(You may want to think about your killer qualifying question for a good headline.)
2. The Solution
Let visitors to your profile know what it could be like if they were to engage with you and take you up on your offer to help solve their problems. Integrate testimonials or videos if you can.
3. Explain the Reasons Why
Explain WHY your prospects are experiencing the pain and problems they have, and perhaps why it might just be worthwhile getting in touch with you.
4. Tell them what they need to do next
Explain the simple steps they need to take in order to solve their problems
5. Your Call to Action
Summarise who you are, what you offer, and how you can be contacted
Hope that gets you thinking...
